St Anna's Medical Mission

In the aftermath of Katrina, St. Anna's Medical Mission fills a critical need: free stopgap healthcare services delivered directly to the people repopulating Orleans, St. Bernard and Jefferson Parishes. Equipped with a range of medical supplies, equipment and sample medications necessary to treat hypertension, hyperglycemia, colds, flu, cuts, rashes and other basic health problems, St. Anna's medical van rotates through designated neighborhoods each week and provides health outreach through a staff nurse and the volunteer doctor, nurse, social worker or non-medical staff who are signed-on for that week.

All donations of $25 or more will receive a free CD that features videos about the Community Center and the devastating effects of hurricane Katrina on the St Bernard area. The Community Center of St Bernard is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible. THANK YOU for giving!

Wishlist

Office needs: copier paper, flat panel monitors, ballpoint pens, HP laserjet toner 92298A, USB mice.

General needs: 9" foam plates, paper napkins, 6 oz or 8 oz foam cups, plastic silverware, bulk lot of blank t-shirts (seconds are ok), Silk-Screen printing press, dryer for silk screening, blank silk screens, shelving units.

Mustard Seed needs: receipt printer (with usb connection), nonperishable food items, toiletries, cleaning products and weed-whacker. Also clothing (good quality), toys, diapers and baby products.

Contributions

Support the CCSTB's ongoing efforts to bring necessary services like food, clothes and medical care to hurricane survivors in St Bernard Parish.

• A $10 gift buys enough beans, rice and canned vegetables to serve 40 people a nutritious hot lunch.

• $35 pays for 5,000 sheets of copier paper for printing resource guides and flyers.

• $100 covers the transport fees for 1 week's worth of food for the Mustard Seed Food Pantry.

• $600 pays 1 month's rent for our food warehouse at 1111 LeBeau St.

• $1,500 pays for 1 month of utility bills for the Community Center.
