St Anna's Medical Mission

Tuesdays 10AM - 1:30PM
In the aftermath of Katrina, St. Anna's Medical Mission fills a critical need: free stopgap healthcare services delivered directly to the people repopulating Orleans, St. Bernard and Jefferson Parishes. Equipped with a range of medical supplies, equipment and sample medications necessary to treat hypertension, hyperglycemia, colds, flu, cuts, rashes and other basic health problems, St. Anna's medical van rotates through designated neighborhoods each week and provides health outreach through a staff nurse and the volunteer doctor, nurse, social worker or non-medical staff who are signed-on for that week.

If you need healthcare, please stop by and see the medical staff on duty every Tuesday. No appointments are necessary. For more information about the wonderful work being done by the dedicated staff of St Anna's, visit to their Homepage here.

Mom & Baby Mobile Health Care Center

Tuesdays 9:30AM - 4PM
If you are pregnant and need prenatal care, the mom & baby mobile health center can help. Anyone can make an appointment to see a provider or just walk in for a free visit. The mom & baby mobile health center is a service of the Daughters of Charity Services of New Orleans, and is sponsored by the Qatar Katrina Fund and the March of Dimes. Please phone 504-231-7427 for more information. Also note that on Mondays the Mobile Health Care Center is in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart in Chalmette from 9:30 AM - 4 PM, and on Thursdays they're parked across from the Lower Ninth Health Clinic.
