Office of Family Support — Food Stamp Assistance

Please note that due to the Gulf Oil Spill, staff from OFS will be at the Community Center from 10 AM to 4 PM until further notice.

Staff members from the Louisiana Department of Social Services Family Assistance Program are at the Community Center every Tuesday and Thursday from 10AM until Noon to help residents enroll for the Food Stamp Program. No appointment is necessary and all cases are seen on a first-come first-served basis. Residents can stop by and pick up an application form to fill out in advance.

Important Notice

Distaster Food Stamps Program Enrollment

Disaster Food Stamps are a separate program from the regular Food Stamps program. Families can pre-enroll so that, in the event of a disaster, they will quickly be able to receive any benefits for which they may be eligible.
